There was a post regarding Pointless the BBC 1Television programme ,the contestant did not know the answer to a question regarding The Rolling Stones despite being in her twenties certain ABers consider people who do not know the answer to a question that our ABer Genius would be able to answer are Idiots is this fair ,surely this is insulting ,if our Genius was face to face with this person ,maybe a teacher,a superior in the workplace would it be correct manners to call someone an idiot ,or is this how it starts hiding behind a computer ,The girl was unable to answer a question on Daytime TV and the first thing that comes to mind is "Some People are Idiots" ,is that your final answer .
What do the rest of ABers think, interesting.

I think you are taking life too seriously
I liked the round when the three contestants scored 600 between them,
and i think as the last two were tied ! they were asked further questions in the same ctegory and clocked up 800. It lives on in my memory and frows legs
PS this is a pointless answer ( pun of course intended )

Well........hands up who has never..NEVER .been called an idiot.
I bet that we all have at some time.
Did it effect you in any way, did your psyche change that you had to rush to a counselor or a psychiatrist?
I doubt it very much.
In the "old days", "you fool " or "you idiot" was a common expression and nobody took lasting offence..........it certainly was not a topic for discussion.
Today, people are far too sensitive about many things and words and have difficulty in taking criticism.
Well...that's my contribution.

When I get get asked 'this might be a stupid question but......', I always reassure that questions are not stupid, but people are! I haven't known anyone to take it seriously or to heart yet. I've been called an idiot to my face within the last week or so, I don't find it that insulting - especially if I have said or done something idiotic!
Some people are idiots, most people have the capacity to be right idiots, sometimes I'm an idiot. Someone calls someone an idiot in real life I'll chance they laugh at them or worse case tell them where to go -someone calls someone an idiot on here and OMG its a chance to start a whole thread on how humiliated I feel, the audacity of it all, how very dare you, lets dissect this and.............must be a boring day on AB today.
