Whilst on holiday in Germany on an xchange visit we were given some cake with a hazelnut taste. We loved it and she said she used hazelnut flour. Ive tried grinding the nuts but its not got the same effect, is it on sale anywhere in the uk

After various thoughts Bohne its been suggested that it was actually hazelnuts ground up, I did wonder if it was a sort of flavouring. Hope I didnt offend you with my German attempt at the start of the e-mail
