The law in this country makes me ill, 18 months ago a sick pervert raped a six year old girl and a 13 MONTH old baby and was sentenced to just 9 years of which he will serve about five.

These pieces of garbage got 6 years and 5 respectively.

Sick,sick,sick, but it is the same worldwide don, this really should be dealt with, in the 60s I lived in Bermondsey and a bloke there assaulted the little girl that lived next door, he only served a short time inside,and then moved back into the same flat as if nothing had happened, but glad to say it was dealt with!! untill we start meteing out serious sentences for this scum that soils the world,it can only get worse, I see people like gary glitter (paul Gadd) and they make me want to puke, it is time we got really tough with them.

It is not the same all over the world. America's penal system is far more stricter than what obtains here in the UK.

The penal system in Britain is pathetic, ridiculous and outrageous. It is far too lenient and encourages more people to take to crime because they know that they will be out of jail in a short time. It not only makes me sick, it makes my heart bleed. It is a system that is very conducive for criminals.

Every year there are approximately 20000 girls between the age of 10 to 14 who are made pregnant by males over the age of 16. The prisons would be swamped by people serving life sentences.

There was a double page spread in a newspaper the other day with the Headline "People Britains Justice Has Killed" they were all killed by people out on probation. We need stricter laws and since Tony Blair is such friends with George W Bush then perhaps he will take a leaf out of his book and create stricter laws.

I hope that a politician reads this and debates it.

The legal system is a joke full stop. Police more interested in easy cop driving fines than proper crime, CPS not interested unless 100% sure, and judges all appear to be old duffers who don't have a clue about this world. Add to that a large dollop of Human rights bullocks, and no wonder that the average Joe on the street is fed up with things.

Simple solutions for crimes:

Cockle pickers gangmaster, staked out and wait for the tide to come in. Brady, taken to Saddleworth Moor, find the grave of Keith Bennett, then to be shot or drugged, and leave him up there to die. Any child molesters, surgically castrated. Any granny batterers, battered by the families of their victim. Anybody preaching racial hatred, such as Hamza, deported straight away, to a nation of their choice. any illegal immigrant, likewise.

Lets try and get the Great back in Britain.

I see a rise in vigilanties, in the next ten years or so, this society is favours the criminal too much, not the victim.

think you are right Andy Boz, things will have to change most decent people have had enough, as I said in my first post when I was Bermondsey , it was sorted, If the courts can't or won't ,people will,hope it never comes to that,but don't hold your breath...

i think they should be used be in experiments instead of animals or is that a bit too un-pc for all the human rights people out there. personally i dont think paedophiles deserve any rights.

If only they could be, loopy, I am fed up with all this PC crap, there should be a referendum on it,because at the moment the whole system from the courts through to do-gooders, is letting Kids & parents down, I know what I would have done if any of my children had been assaulted and I could have just 5 minutes with them.
