Serving notice on a temporary contract
1 Answers
I work on temporary assignments, that have a 30 day notice period by either party.
I booked some holiday for mid april for two weeks, notice was served on my contract on the 31 march, with the employer only paying upto my holiday period.
If I had known that notice was to be served I would not of booked a holiday.
My question is can I pursue my employer for the full notice period? any advice / guidance would be apreciated.

If you are, then the employer is actual giving you 30 days notice but you are using some days of the notice period to take paid leave. If you are taking unpaid leave (because you are only paid for the days you work), the thing might be different.
