Travelling To Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei And Bali
8 Answers
I intend to travel to Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei/Borneo and Bali next June. I'm looking for the best websites or travel agency in UK where i could preplan and purchase my flights and connections in advance. Or do i book a one way ticket to Bangkok then arrange my flights internally....I know internal flights in Malaysia are really cheap if booked internally.....just wondering what my best options are..>? Any advice is gratefully received.

It may still be possible to fly cheaply via Moscow. If you like the idea of going with Aeroflot. Some friends of mine did this in the past - saved a fortune. You'll have to investigate if it is still possible, but your return-departure airport may have to be the same as your outward-departure airport. Worth some research, anyway.
Air Asia fares tend to become more expensive the closer to departure that you get so I would book in advance. I flew with Air Asia last year and they are very good for getting around that part of the world. The only thing I noticed though, was that they are terrible for cancelling flights. We went with them from Singapore to Langkawi and I knew we would be OK as there was only one flight per day and I knew they wouldn`t pinch our aircraft so that they could put it on another flight that had gone "tech" but from my experience (in Sinagapore at least) there are about 4 or 5 cancelled Air Asia flights on the airport boards at any one time.
Thanks for the info guys, I have been to Singapore and KL and Langkawi before but it was about 7 years ago, I like the idea of diverting via Moscow tho' so that could be an option. Once I get a better Idea of my dates I may rely on my friends already on the ground in Malaysia organising my internal flights, they will probably get the better deal than an outsider trying to book them from half way across the globe.
