Slapshot....I think Alex Salmon showed a good sense of humour at this when he remarked that he was far more worried about the burning of the Loch Ness Monster.
Lewes has had a tradition as I pointed out the Been who didnt seem to know - of burning an effigy of the Pope on Guy Fawkes Night

This is linked to three protestants being burned in around 1555 for heresy
in the square in Lewes and the population clearly didnt like it - then or now

Bizarre. The highlight of the show were two giant effigies of Putin: one in a green mankini, and one with the wreckage of flight MH17 around his neck.
Whoever designed them deserves an award :-)
And yet all the fuss is about Salmond ...
