Poo SticKs NO Winnie!

OK I expect the usual comments which will be ignored
But I want to know the rules of Poo sticks as in AA Milnes Winnie the Poo sticks floating under bridges.
I know you drop them in then its the first to emerge the other side but is there anything else to know . is there an offside rule?
