What Would Cause Ulnar Subluxation Of Extensor Tendons
5 Answers
I've recently seen a private consultant re my permanently locked middle & ring fingers. He picked up on something other consultants I have seen including the surgeon who operated last year. He showed me the ulnar subluxation of the extensor tendons & pointed out to me the tendons running down the sides of these fingers instead of over the knuckle joint. I just wondered why this has happened. I am seeing yet another NHS consultant in 2 weeks time & am hoping that finally something will be done to correct this problem & the pain I am suffering once & for all.

In answer to your question as to why this has happened, that of the tendons slipping out of position, is either a rheumatoid arthritic problem in the hands or disruption due to release of trigger finger, the latter quite rare.
This is the best that i can do.

I do not know in what part of the country that you live, but if it were me in your predicament i would "hot foot it" to a colleague and friend of mine.
