Your figure quotes 4200 joules per kilogramme so (ignoring the 'per degree Celsius' bit for the moment) that's 4200 x 4.5j = 18900 joules.

However that's the amount of energy required to heat the water by just one degree but you need to heat it by 45 degrees:
18900 x 45 = 850500 joules = 850.5Kj

This gives you the power consumption figures you're seeking:
