Remembrance Sunday
17 Answers
I will be marching in London at the Cenotaph tomorrow. The clip below is my tribute to 1519 men lost on HM Ships Glorious, Ardent and Acasta. This was the largest loss of life in any single Royal Navy engagement in WW2. The admiralty files on this action were closed for 100 years. Our association will remember all these men, but also everyone who died in the service of their country. I doubt you will see us marching as we are near the back of the parade. And I've no doubt the BBC will spoil the broadcast by having Sophie Raworth interviewing Brigadier Wotsit and Rear Admiral so and so as the main event passes by in the background. But the main thing is that we remember all the brave men. RIP.
