bought a new car recently n the bloke who sold it had this after his name on his business card, any idea if it stands for a qualification or something??
To put these letters after his name he must meet the minimum entry requirement for this level of membership:
"Level 4 equivalent national qualification (e.g. Certificate of Management Studies, BTEC HND, N/SVQ Level 4 or equivalent) and 3 years relevant experience, of which at least two years must be in the retail motor industry."
I have the letters M.A.A.T after my name after studying a four year accountancy course, but to get the letters I have to be working in an accounting role with at least 2 years accounting experience and then every year I pay 100 to keep them.
So I assume Mr M.I.M.I must be the same kind of thing in a different field of work.
It basically shows that the person is professional and committed to his industry - although I do get called Door Mat ! but I rather door mat than Mimi....
