Does anyone know if one can use a station car park even if you are not travelling by train? We are going to London tomorrow by coach and parking at railway station car park for the whole day seems the cheapest option

what station, they may be run by different parking companies, the one where i am, as long as you have paid for the length of your stay you don't have to be on a train
How would anyone know if you were on a train or not ?
if it was a manned car park they could check tickets mikey. its very very unlikely though & i doubt you'll have any problem
I'd expect that they are only concerned with the revenue, not what journey you are planning you take. The carpark and station are most likely owned by different companies anyway.

Thanks to all for the advice
I am surprised that the station car park is the cheapest option. Where I live, long stay parking at the station costs an arm and a leg.
Possible CCTV Mickey, the sly out of sight ones.
If you pay the parking fee there is no further obligation
