Hello. Can I print different parts of a document onto the same page?

If I highlight one area I can't highlight another can I?

If you have a document from which you want to take different sections - highlight the first section you require. Copy it. And then open a New Document and paste into it.

Then select your next paragraph/sentence - copy and paste.And so on . . .

If you have Word 2000 onwards:-

Select Nonconsecutive Items in Word 2002

Now Word 2002 users can do something Microsoft Excel users have been doing for a long time�select multiple items that aren't next to each other.

For example, you can select a word in the first paragraph, and a word in the fifth paragraph, but not all the words in between. This is helpful if you want to perform the same task on multiple items, such as delete them or change their formatting.

Here's how you can select items that aren't next to each other:

Select the first item you want, such as a table cell or paragraph.
Hold down CTRL.
Select any additional items you want.

Highlight the first section, then hold ctrl and highlight the next. You can highlight multiple sections this way, then copy and paste onto the same page. This works in Word and probably in a lot of other wps.

Smorodina, that's what I tried on this machine but it didn't work (Word 2000 still) - it works fine on my newer machine (Word 2003). See the post above.

PS. Have you ever tried the (little known) ALT method of selecting?
