Asking here cos hoping for a quick answer....
Mortgage lender has agreed to lend the money on the property we have agreed a price on, subject to their survey.
If their survival reveals no serious concerns, and therefore the lender fully agrees to lend the money........ Do we have to counter agree to borrow it before the loan will all go ahead?
We'd like to send our own surveyor in after the lenders basic survey, as a potential bargain tool, without affecting the amount of money the lender is prepared to offer. But do not want to be committed in the event that our survey finds something the basic one doesn't.
