Well That Was Scary

I've just had a weird funny turn.
I went from relatively fine to out of breath and dizzy. The medication I'm on has never had any real side effects so I doubt it was that. How strange.

I did all the basic checks, temperature, blood oxygen levels, blood pressure and blood glucose. My blood pressure is always through the roof, usually 120/140. The doctor at the hospital has mentioned on more than one occasion that I need to be medicated for my high BP but never actually do anything about it. They just blame my anxiety. My heart rate never seems to drop below 100, even at resting. I should fight harder to have them look into why this is but I honestly can't deal with it mentally, I just ignore it.
'I've had a few attacks like that. Nothing serious but I think it is referred to as a mini stroke. '

TonyV: Aye, I know I need to see the GP. The problem is that the last time I went I made the mistake of telling them about the abdominal pain I was, and occasionally still am, having. I spent all night and morning in hospital getting poked by needles. It just puts so much unwanted stress on my family, especially with what my step dad is going through.
Yeah I know mate. My step dad has leukaemia; makes my problems relatively small really. I've been extremely lucky to be honest. I've nearly met the Grim Reaper on 2 occasions this year alone. That saying 'only the good die yoing' fits for me! I'll still be going till the age of 150. I'll see my GP as soon as my step dad goes back in for another month. The last thing I want to do is stress him out more than he already is.
