In the late 70s I read a review of a book called "The adventure of the sanguinary Count". It's about Sherlock Holmes investigating Count Dracula. At the time, I tried, with no luck to buy a copy.
I was googling the other week, came across a copy for sale in America, it cost me 1p plus £2.80 p&p! It's just arrived, that's my bedtime reading sorted!
I wonder if Sherlock Holmes is the fictional character who has been the subject of the most novels and short stories written by authors other than their original author. Does anybody know? What do you think?
