Slapshot, most English people think even Culloden was a battle between Scots and English which the English won, never mind understanding the relatively minor inter-clan matter of Glencoe!
As I'm sure you yourself know, Culloden was a battle involving mainly Catholic highlanders and islanders who supported the Stuarts and mainly Protestant lowlanders who supported the Hanoverians.
