New Spectacles

Got my eyes tested a few weeks ago (in the clinic) cos I had a bit of pressure behind the eyes some years back.

Was fed up with the glasses I am wearing for 3 years now - went to Specsavers last Monday for a test and everything has remained the same - no change in 3 years. Hurray.

I received a "Golden Ticket" from them. This entitled me to half price glasses.

Did any of you know that. pS Picked cream spectacles with little diamonds on the legs - just a cupple (diamonds I mean).

Where I live there is a manufacturer who supplies the trade. They don't do eye tests but if you take your prescription there they are a fraction of the cost. The last time I was there the dearest frames cost £40; the same ones on the High Street were £200.
