Monumental cock up on my part. New carpet arrived this morning and it's about a foot too short. My measurements. Sheepishly Helped fitter roll carpet back up and as he was taking carpet out, he smashed a light fitting on the ceiling. One of a pair. Anyone know a good divorce solicitor?

Reminded me of last weekend, son and daughter in law bought king size plus bed, giving us their king size, Sue waited at home for new mattress for theirs to arrive, while son came here and changed my beds over, after waiting till 6 pm they finally rung the company, and found there'd been a giant cock-up and it couldn't be delivered till this weekend, so son had to take my old mattress that I was about to throw out and sleep on the floor on it . Sod's law wasn't it? Only good thing was that they were given 50 per cent reduction on their new mattress.
