I bought this game last week for my Son. Followed installation as instructed but when he goes to play the game, the following message appears.
Unable to start:
Cant run the Sims 4 videocard in this system. Please check that the video card meets the minimum specifications nd that the latest video drivers are installed.
I have no experience of this game, but I would suspect that all games show a minimum standard required from your PC video system in order to run the game/programme. Is it that your PC has an under-powered video card/system as far as the game is concerned ? in which case it may be a possible Xmas gift upgrade that's required for the PC.
Check what it says on the box against what you have in your PC.
The obvious question has to "Which video card have you got in the computer?". If it's from Nvidia it needs to be a GeForce 6600 (or better). If it's from ATI it needs to be their Radeon X1300 (or better). If it's from Intel you need their GMA X4500 (or better).
