and I was contacted as fambly genealogist to give names of heirs and likely winners for lithos first done 1910 - 1920 so just within the new

but had to tell them they had got the wrong Smith ...

Copyright lasts for 70 years after the copyright holder's death. Shakespeare has been dead just short of 400 years.
