Well, if we knew that, there wouldn't be much point to the D-notice system. (For those who don't know, D-notices are issued to the Press by Government, asking the Press not to publish certain sensitive information.) But there was certainly a D-notice issued in 1999, asking that the Press should not publish the address of a website which contained the addresses of intelligence personnel. i know it buried a story when a cargo plane crashed into a lake near heathrow, i think it was a dutch one. The cover story was that the lake was contaminated with aviation fuel, but they forgot to mention the depleted uranium pellets used as ballast in the tail-plane
