I wish I knew what he said. I have always thought of Mellor as a bit of pillock, although you have to admire his nerve for deeming to know London better than the Cab driver !

Like Prudie, I remember him for being pathetic ans something to do with football. Why would anyone swear at anyone they don't know and who hasn't provked them to the utmost I never have - in fact I'm trying to remember the last time I swore at anyone directly. Can't even remember doing that. People like Mellor strike me as being sadly uncontrolled individuals, most of us have control of our tongues.
