Hi my Canon MG4250 printer has been working fine, but now it suddenly won't print. It automatically goes to print preview but nothing shows up then it comes up with an error, the printer couldn't print. I have tried printing from both my laptop and phone but it won't print from either. Any ideas?

My Canon did the same thing a few months ago. It was nearly 8 years old and it just "died". I bought a new one and all's ok now.

Oh no I hope that's not the case, it's only 18 months old!
Make sure you know the serial number of your printer. (It's 4 letters, followed by 5 numbers). You can get an indication of where to look for it from here:
http://www.canon.co.uk/Support/Consumer_Products/where_to_find_your_serial_number/#tab-content2

Also make sure that you know exactly what the error message you get says.

Then phone 020 7660 0186 (0900-1700, M-F). Canon's support team are usually very helpful.

Update - Rang Canon who were very helpful, after lots of changing settings that didn't make a difference and then saying the signal strength was too weak, all it took was a simple reboot of the router and it's printing again!! Panic over! Thanks for your suggestions
