I have to admit that I haven't, tonyav.

My late husband had a PPL and I went up, once with him in our Piper Arrow, but seeing as how I had to have 2 stiff gin & tonics before I climbed in, I can't say it was memorable. Lol.

The ex had a PPL and he was always waxing lyrical about how fab. it was to fly a plane. He was always nervous when we were on a commercial flight because he wasnt the pilot and therefore, not in control of the plane. He never could stand not being in control. I hate flying and he never understood that.
