I had these last year.

Question Author
How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking?

They cost 3000-4000 but I got them free coz I work for an orthodontist so I was used to advertise them basically.

They are good if you want something you can take out but I think if I was going to pay i would just have the standard fixed braces.

Hiya Yummy,

Best thing to do would be to try and register with an NHS dentist (might be hard!) you would most likely have to pay for orthodontic treatment, but it really does depend. If the tooth sticks out far enough for instance i.e. its at risk of being knocked and broken then treatment may be available on the NHS.

The site angel-cake has indicated is probably the best for info on clear braces as she says. I would also agree that this is a bit on the pricey side and to be honest even though they are clear you will still see them, so your probably best off going for conventional treatment.

On other posts people have mentioned veneers, in your case this would probbaly not be appropriate and even if it was, you'd be wise not too have one. They're expensive, they involve cutting perfectly sound tooth and they will fall off, perhaps at a party or a wedding!
