Whistling Shower

I had a new shower fitted a few days ago and now when I turn it on it whistles! Any ideas how to stop it? Please keep it simple as I'm not a plumber :) TIA

Sorry, don't know; I suppose it depends on what the cause is. Could it be air in the system ?

I knew someone with a similar problem. They changed the showerhead and the whistling stopped.
