there was a news flash on tv to say the judge in South Africa had thrown out the murder charge against the extradited Asian millionaire on the charge of killing his wife. How must her relatives feel ? would it have happened here ?
Yes it could. If at the end of the prosecution case the judge feels that the evidence is so weak that there is no realistic prospect of a conviction he can direct the jury to return a verdict of not guilt at "half time", as it were,
so you no everything bout this case dee ??
how about if he was found guilty but was innocent, how would his family feel,it works both ways.
if theres not enough evidence, then the verdict is right, what ever country it is
I think the judge should have heard all the evidence from both sides and then made her announcement. No I don't know diddly squat. my sympathy goes to her relatives and do I personally think he is up to his neck in it ? deed I do.
knowing someone has done something and being able to prove it are two different animals
,
think Dreyfus, Birmingham six, Guildford four, Renault two and so on and on
Annis; relatives are all wailing and gnashng their teeeth saying they will never know what happened to Anni - but this is not the purpose of a murder trial ....
Dee sa, 3 people have been convicted of the murder. The case against Diwani was ONLY that 2 of the convicted murderers( one is now dead) were claiming that they were paid to kill her by the husband so as to get a lesser sentence.
The judge said that the stories of the 2 were so poor, contradictory and inconsistent that she could not see where the lies ended and the truth started.
