There seemed to be an unfortunate error in the online version I saw yesterday, where the title was given as "the Fairy Godmother" when it should be "The Fairy Godfather". Rather a shame that such an error would slip through at the last moment...

Anyway, a pleasant miniature of a puzzle -- forms part of a series of this sort of idea from Samuel, although many of those were over in the Magpie series. Nothing wrong with a bit of easy now and then!
