Gogglebox Toffs With Farage

Nigel Farage spends an evening with Gogglebox "Toffs" Steph and Dom. Tonight at 10 o'clock, Channel 4.

It should be worth watching as I imagine a lot of booze,will be quaffed.

I thought that Farage and Dom made a good pair, forced guffaws and trying to outdo each other with their remarks. Boozing, falling over, smoking and swearing (well that Gogglebox pair don't need any help in the latter) I think all three obnoxious and the couple acting up to the camera.

Watching those two guys in the pub reminds me of some of the complete prats I used to have to serve and listen to when I did bar work at collage. All mouth and trousers, as they say.

Oh fergawdsake...I have nothing against anyone drinking, and I didn't care if he did or not here. One of the reasons i love the other two is they enjoy a drink.

My point was he seems to think that should be his image, a stupid grin from ear to ear with a pint in his hand and I find that false, as I find him. That said, I find the other party leaders false too.

(watching it now on 4+1) and now the wife is on the doorstep effing and blinding. You can have all the money in the world but you can`t buy Class.

PankySmooch, I don't think he is pretending to be *** on Gogglebox. Having seen what he can get down in an afternoon, he's like that all the time.

He is a genuine nice bloke, still a bit naive in that he still opens his mouth before the spin doctors get in there, but I think this endears him to a lot of 'normal' folk. I think he did well last night with Steph and Dom but there personalities are wearing a bit thin now to be honest. I'd like to see Farage out on a date with the two black ladies off Goggle Box -now that would be fun!

I like the couple and have no real views on Nigel, but I was a bit disappointed with the programme - it all seemed a little forced.
