It's all part of the growing trend in society that people have to be told how to live for their own good. I was speaking to a friend this morning who was just coming from her bank after arranging a loan for a car. She said she had to sit through a video which explained, in excruciating detail, all the problems she would have if the loan wasn't repaid. Apparently the video had little playlets demonstrating each problem.
