genuine question, is the offence taken seriously in Kenya? might he have got away with it there if brought to trial?
Because British people can be tried in the UK for offences against children that were committed abroad if it is also an offence in that country.

He wasn't arrested or charged for the offences in Kenya, it is was a British investigative tv journalist that brought these offences to the attention of the British authorities.
