How on earth did they get flies and worms to swallow tablets?

Certainly not. I doubt worms, flies and yeast cells drink, smoke and have the stresses associated with human life. What a silly experiment.
And don't take them on an empty stomach. They can make you ill....
Seems to me that, accidents apart, that lifespan is determined either by a genetic predisposition, lifestyle or perhaps a combination of both.

Interesting study.....even if you are neither worm or fly.

I shan't be taking Ibuprofen daily as i have already exceeded my predicted lifespan......;-)
are you yeast?
I take Ibuprofen every day. Does this mean I'll live forever?? Wait until next week's report and health scare wherein we're told that if we take Ibuprofen, we'll die the day before tomorrow !.
taking 75 mg of aspirin is probably better
// I've spent my life aviodinrugsg pharmaceutical drugs//

but you happily take drugs shown not to work ?

ibuprofen every day has a downside ( tied with gut issues in the elderly )
