I always used to bite my nails and have never grown them until I decided to a few weeks ago. I now have nice (although slighty soft) nails which are just passed the ends of my fingers.

But im now finding it difficult to do things I never used to have problems doing, the worst being taking my contact lenses out!...

Is this something im going to get used to and find a new way of doing it without jabbing my nails in my eyeballs, or is this generally a difficult task for people with longer nails? x

I've got talons! Really long natural nails and I've been wearing lenses for 11 years or more.

I use the pads of my fingers rather than the tips and have no problems at all.

You'll soon get used to it!

I have always used the pads of my fingers instead of tips
I have lenses, and find that the longer my nails get the move i have to slide the lense around my finger tip to wards the palm of my hand and asfor getting them out i sort of use the edge of my fingers, however when my nails get realy long i have to cut them mearly for the fact im almost gouging my eye out if i dont.
