I know minty, they are so understaffed though. I waited 2hrs 25minutes for assistance yesterday. The whole time I was in agony.

They had a blue light and needed to attend someone. Only 1 prescribing nurse at the moment so restricted meds like morphine cannot be prescribed without two people qualified at the same level.

that is really not good enough diz..you need to be written up for pain killers on demand (within reason ) ...

Well they've been doing meds since 7:20 and they haven't got around to me yet even though my temperature is spiked.

you need to ask to speak to doc and explain all this..if you are written up then it is just a matter of dispensing....hope it gets better for you soon diz xx

I've been given my medications now. The Cyclizine makes me drowsy for about 3O minutes so hopefully the Oxy will start working whilst the pain is dampened.
