Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

The clue for 28 across is "Rust" (7 letters). I have

E?R?O?E and am fairly cetain that the letters I have are correct but have completely failed to find any word to fit except "earhole"! I think they have may have made an error and intended the answer to be "erode". Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you both. I am sure you must be right and that "corrode" is the intended answer. This makes more sense than my thoughts about "erode". The problem is the first letter "C". This also has to be the last letter of the answer to 4 down but 4 down is "Car's 360 degree rotation on full lock" (7,6) which I think can only be "turning circle". I can't think of any answer to 4 down that would end in a "C". I remain stumped!
