I recently had to reinstall windows 2000 and I've obviously done something wrong. All images, e.g. screensaver, background and pictures etc on Internet Explorer have gone all fuzzy and hard to see. What can I do? Non-techy answer to non-techy question please. Thanks.

My guess is your display settings. Right click on the desktop to get the 'display properties' box and click the 'settings' tab. Make sure the 'Colors' are set to 'High Color' or above.
...that should be right click on the desktop and choose 'Properties' to get the 'display properties' box.

Thank you very much. But I have no choice under colours apart from 16 bit. Everything had been OK before the reinstallation. Any other suggestions? Thanks again.
If you have only got a choice of 16 colours, then you haven't installed the correct driver for your display card, this should be on the supplied CD, or if not, then will be available from the company's web site.
Sorry, misread 16 bit for 16 colours, still check device manager to see if you have the correct driver for your display card installed.
