You might, just might, be able to get parts for it through a Vauxhall dealer, as both VX and Pontiac are owned by General Motors.

Buy a copy of Exchange and Mart magazine, look in the motoring section under 'American Cars' , there are plenty of places supplying bits for yanks in there.

You may find the the body shell and many parts are the same as the Chevy Camaro and Classic Industries have a great catalogue. They ship worldwide.

Thanks dirtyhabit, I have actually contacted them about various parts, and they wanted to charge me $1800 for a book and 1 door seal, it did include shipping, but to be fair it would cost me a lot less if I got it in the UK, strange that??!!
Must be one hell of a book !! The door seal price depends on which body you have. The price for a convertible door seal is around $120. $180 if you have a T top, and $123 if you don't.
So I would be intrested in how they got it to $1800 ? I use Classic Industries for a lot of GM parts and if you wait for one of thier special offer periods, you can save as much as 20% off list price.

@ Dirtyhabit, I have a 1992 pontiac firebird (t-roof) I was after a t roof seal, but they offered me a dorr frame seal which wraps around the t roof, the book was an owners manual, I know its gonna be fairly pricey but that price??? I guess I should phone them to clear it up, may be I'm not understanding things clearly
Classic Industries numbers should be G6393 for the RH seal and G6494 for the LH and are priced at $108.95 each. I will and find the e-mail address for the lady I have delt with at Classic Industries. I am sure there is some mistake.
Haynes do 2 manuals for the Firebird >92. They have their own manual #79019 and a Chilton manual #C28602 and both are priced around 18 and available in the UK.
You can download a Classic Industies catalogue for the Firebird or order a paper version. (nice you can spend hours looking at all the things you would love to buy).
Have you tried Ebay? There is a seller in America selling the Haynes manual for $3.99, he ships to the UK. Also quite a few parts on there.
