I prefer the leftovers to the actual Christmas dinner. My favourite is making bubble and squeak. Is it just me or do any of you feel the same?

Thank you......☺
Bubble & squeak with a few fried eggs on the top is divine!!!
we didnt have any leftovers.
Boxing day we had hot dogs with fried onions for tea.
bubble and squeak ... international supermodel, something doesn't add up
No leftovers for us either because I didn't cook. I usually always cook extra spuds for the next day.
I cooked for just us two on Xmas day, and cooked far too much. Southend all day yesterday, and now for a cracking bubble and squeak today!!! Lots of veg, roast pots and tons of gravy!!!! Yum yum

Bubble and squeak is real comfort food..yum.
But turkey???yeeuuch...it all too often lives up to its reputation. Dry and tasteless. When will someone develop a breed with some fat on it...maybe turkey crossed with goose?
Yes I prefer Boxing day meal of cold turkey, buttery mash and loads of different pickles, cranberry and cold bread sauce.
.... since "bubble" is well-known rhyming slang, Mrs Workwear, I would suggest this .................

Bubble and squeak for us tonight too. I'll have chilli sauce with mine - lush!
Am I the only one to have a three bird roast with stuffing sandwich??? It was yummy!
I'm guessing Tony will have, Cupid.... ;-)
Lol! ^^^
Think half the country is having bubble & squeak today, me included had it for tea with braising steak, onions & kale it was lovely :-))
Leftovers Mrs O, we have a dog to deal with these!!!
He even cleans the plates as well.
I love bubble and squeak, with grated cheese on top, a Boxing Day must, with cold turkey gammon and loads of pickles. None of the pressure of Christmas Day - although there may be a bit of pressure after the b & s if you know what I mean!
