You would have thought this was an easy question but the more I
look the more I tend to believe the conspiracy people ;-)

If you look at a picture of the Titanic how many port hole
things are there in the white gunwales section on the front
of the port side.

Oh well.
this is from the link Mamyalynne provided, if it's any help

Both Olympic and Titanic had 15 portholes on the starboard side of the forecastle on C-Deck. On the same area on the port side, both were launched with 14 portholes. However, Titanic was modified before she sailed to have 16 and Olympic received the same modification after Titanic was gone. As proof, go to Google Images and find an image of Olympic (it’s the ship without the enclosure on A-Deck which is just below the Boat Deck) with 16 portholes on the port C-Deck of the forecastle without lifeboats going along the full length of the Boat Deck. Olympic received a full complement of lifeboats practically immediately after Titanic sank

so James Cameron made 33 dives to the wreck before he made his movie, and it was the wrong ship all along, but he never noticed ?

there are companies offering dives to the wreckage to those prepared to pay enough.

Its a simple case of pictures being switched. Surely these people don't think one ship set sail and another took the route instead ? what for - an insurance fiddle ?
Irrespective of the number of portholes, I think it was down to a big block of ice that got in the way.
