I know its not real, but at least it could be realistic.Bank Holiday Mondays edition featured a funeral, and a visit by social services to discuss an adoption.

Our council is firmly shut on a Bank Holiday, don't the scriptwriters know this?

Also why did they bring the awful Janice Battersby back, the "actress" who plays her is embarrasing,I squirm when this terrible woman appears! Her performance at the wake was one of the worst things I've seen in a soap.

the countryside wardens aren't they are employed by our local council but they still harrasssed my son for camping in the woods

I didn't see that episode, but just because it transmits on a Monday - a bank holiday Monday at that - doesn't necessarilly mean that the events are supposed to be representative of that day.

It's like that with any soap. You may get a cliffhanger at the end of one episode which is immediately picked up again with the next episode transmitted a couple of days later - it's obvious then they are still concerned with the events of the soap day rather than the actual day.

It was mentioned it was a Bank holiday, also Gail received some post, and the salon was open.

The day that gail got post and the salon was open was saturday on the street, but shown on sunday. Don't know about monday nights episode, maybe it was meant to be tuesday as the show's not on on tuesday nights is it?
