In the late 60's or early 70's, a commercial had a young girl who said "mummy says that when I grow up, I'll be a proper little madam". What was it advertising, who was the girl, and did she become a proper little madam?

I do remember the advert in the 70s - something in the back of my mind says that it was clarks shoes  - if it was not then it was heinz beans, I have not thought about it for 30+ years but i think it is the shoes

Wasn't born til '86, but I'm sure I've seen it somewhere....maybe a clip on some tv program maybe! Found it here, so def was Clarks, not sure if it works, but you can see it here. Doesn't say about the girl though I'm afraid!

I'm sorry that this reply comes so very late.
The Proper Little Madam from the advert is my Great Auntie Amelia.
I'm not sure what her name was then but her name now is Amelia Bird. She lives in Germany now, and works at an Army Base.
She never did any more acting, but she's almost certainly still a little madam, even at 58!
It was a clarks shoes advert in the 70s x

To the post above. I was just searching for this as my aunt just died and she used to call my mum a proper little madam lol and it's such a coincidence that your aunt lived in germany and worked at an army base as the aunt I mentioned did the exact same thing! Weird how things work out in life, eh? Anyway if anyone finds this video could you leave a link. Thank you.
