I have just gone onto 'The littlest Hobo' link,watched the intro and cried over the dog,that then reminded me of 'Boomer',I used to cry over that too,and what about 'lassie',I cried over all of them when i was younger,,,then again i still do,am i sad or one of many???

Awww the littlest Hobo! I was so proud of myself the other week as I managed to sing the theme tune and remembered it all! Haven't seen that since I was tiny! Aww the memories :o)

I can't watch things like Lassie, Black Beauty etc.. as they always make me cry or sad. I don't like watching things where animals die, even though it's not real lol Can watch horrors till the cows come home, unless I know an animal dies in it ;o)

What about Gentle Ben! Just remembered that one! My God it's years and years since I saw that!

great post, electric blue! The Littlest Hobo, Lassie and Black Beauty all made me cry, and if I watched any of them today (or heard the theme tune) I would still cry! There was quite an interesting post last year sometime about whether the theme from Black Beauty would make people cry even if they hadn't heard it before, but can't find it.

I think Black Beauty,hobo etc has the type of music to make you cry,don't know why,Follyfoot theme done it to me too.

Hi folks, this is my first posting. I saw this thread and just had to tell you what I used to do. Everytime I watched hobo when I was a wee girl, when it finished I used to run to the end of the road & wait for the hobo to come, looking in the distance to see hime come over the hill. I would be devastated when he would not appear. Boo Hoo.
