Asus 7" Memo Pad. Me70Cx

I live in Spain (long since retiredl I need a very cheap Tablet and have to buy what is local.I have a computer so only need one when I go out. I can buy the above in a store for 99 Euros. It seems to have good reviews in it's price bracket. It is just for surfing news and queries. I dont want games or anything else. It is so I can use it in a bar or maybe later get a box installed so I can use it at home.My signal is not wi-fi but via intranet. I know nothing about them. Will the above be sufficient for my needs

It should be fine for your needs. I have one which is a couple of years old, and use it for surfing, queries, Skype, reading books via the Kindle app, playing music, catching up on a few TV and radio programmes using BBC Iplayer and occasionally for work when I don't want to do stuff on paper and complete the spreadsheet later. Oh it also acts as a sat nav from time to time as well.

Thank you Huderon that is all I need to know.I just want one to keep in touch when I am away for a couple of days or out shopping. Not bothered about any Apps etc. I dont know the first thing about them, specifications etc.
