Long Long Shot - Searching For Jan Tors

I thought I would post this in CB cos it gets a wider audience and there are some proper clever bods in here.

I am trying to trace a picture of an actor by the name of Jan Tors - in fact I am trying to trace anything I can about him - particularly biographical details. He did stuff in the 30s and 40s (although not much).

I've tried google images and the IMDB. Can anyone help please?

Maydup - I tried to explain to Mr BM how I made the link but his eyes glazed over after 10 mins. I wasnt actually talking to him today, but I HAD to tell him about his grandad.
