Lost Addresses On One Device

My email addresses have disappeared on one device, I have a laptop running on Vista, a Kindle Fire and a laptop running on Windows 8.1. On the latter all the addresses have disappeared, they're there on the other devices and on my phone.
The newer laptop has caused me all kinds of problems, I still can't access this site without some other website popping up, as you kind folks have previously advised me about! Any ideas on this or do I have to find out how to manually add them in?

I know virtually nothing about Windows 8.1 because I am still using Windows 7 and Vista. However, I do know that, unless the Mail App in W8 is up-to-date, a problem like yours can arise.

What make and model laptop do you have.? What e/mail programme are you using.? Have you been having difficulties from the start with your laptop.?

I'm using Outlook and it's up to date. If the addresses had also gone from the other devices, I'd understand it more but they're fine! There have been odd problems with W8 and 8.1 but they seem to be resolved. The laptop's an HP, at the moment I have a conversation going inm the Microsoft Community too so I'll keep my fingers crossed. Thanks for your reply.
