Hp Photosmart Wireless E-All-In-One B110 Printer

Hi

I have been refilling and re-using ink cartridges very successfully for a couple of years but today I am getting 'unknown device' messages when I try to clean the printheads after a refill. I have changed the cartridges; downloaded more drivers; switched off the printer and the computer (usual fixes) all to no avail. Do I have to buy a new printer? I have had this one since May 2011.
