well it's got here from China, so I think it's pretty safe. Should try an oil tanker.....crude ships go up to nearly 0.5 mln tonnes and over half a mile long. The crew have bikes or motor-scooters to get to the bow from the stern quarters.....

In the late 70s two containers full of ammunition washed up on a shore on the west coast of Ireland. That was something we could have done without. Fortunately, the Guarda secured both. They'd been en route from the USA to Israel.

Yes I do, after I left the RMs I was with a Shipping Company for quite a while, I can assure you the Loadmasters went to a great deal of trouble to make sure the Ships were not top heavy, 'cause whatever you think that would not work, they may look top heavy, but they're not!

I'd read somewhere that there was a mass of Ice her rigging, mast's causing her to be top heavy, but that was one of many story's.

If that was the case TWR, that would have made her top heavy, which would have proved my point, wouldn't it?
