Our large [10' x 10' x 3'] very old cement pond has relieved itself of all the water! I can see a couple of hairline cracks which I will fill but I think the main problem is the porous cement which I am going to try to seal. Two suggestions given to me are G4 pond sealer and Aquaseal. Has anyone ever used either of these for sealing porous cement in a pond - or used any other product which has worked satisfactorily? Many thanks in advance.

Would it be easier and safer to buy a pond liner and line the whole pond? Obviously, that would give you the problem of covering the overlap at the edge of the pond, though, so hopefully someone will come up with a better idea.

Thanks but a pond liner would be too difficult to fit because the pond has numerous ledges, mini barriers, slopes and a metal stand cemented into it - so it's not straightforward!
g4 should be fine. worked on my waterfall. use cheap brushes coz they are a pain to clean, i just lobbed them away after.
