Aeropress Coffee Maker

Has anyone used one of these coffee makers ? I use my trusty Cafetiere every morning but the Guardian was raving about these today.

I don't have one, but a friend has....and I have to say I was pretty impressed with it. It's a nice piece of kit that actually makes decent coffee!

I haven't used one but my son in-law loves his.

I have one, it's a little fiddly compared with a cafetiere but it does make good coffee.

Thanks everybody....I think I will give it a go. They are on ebay for about £22, including p+p, so its worth taking a punt.....I shall report back asap !

mikey, I would add, you can only make one cup of coffee at a time whereas the cafetiere makes it in bulk.

Well you can make up to 4 espressos at one time Vulcan and therefore multiple Americanos as you simply dilute an espresso to taste to make a long coffee. Not the same as a 12 cup cafitiere I grant you, also not great if you have arthritis/rheumatism in your wrists as the push can be quite hard.
